1.2 Product Details:
West Forged Ltd. designs alloy wheels suitable for general legal road use, show vehicles, cars, and vans.
We offer both standard designs and fully custom designs.
Our wheels are forged from 6061T Aluminium and are made to specific sizes for individual vehicles.
Payment methods include PayPal, bank transfer, payment links, card payments, and PayPal credit. Fees may be applicable. All prices are listed in GBP. Any applicable foreign transaction fees or currency conversion charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Delays in agreed payments being made may lead to delays in lead times.
1.3 Delivery and Shipping:
West Forged Ltd. arranges and covers worldwide shipping to the customer's home address.
All alloy wheels are insured during shipment, and West Forged Ltd.'s insurance covers replacement or repair costs for lost or damaged items. West Forged Ltd. will not be liable for delays or missed lead times due to this matter.
1.4 Quality Assurance:
All alloy wheel designs undergo stress testing through software.
Wheels are built to TUV and FIA standards and undergo a final quality control check in-house before delivery to the client.
1.5 Intellectual Property:
West Forged Ltd. owns the rights to listed wheel designs and logos.
1.6 Privacy and Data Protection:
Customer data is not shared or discussed without customer authorization.
West Forged Ltd. complies with UK General Data Protection Laws.
1.7 Definitions:
- "Customer" refers to any individual or entity who purchases or uses the products and services offered by West Forged Ltd.
- "Product" refers to the alloy wheels and any related items sold by West Forged Ltd.
- "Services" refers to any additional services, including customizations, fittings, etc., provided by West Forged Ltd.
1.8 Limitation of Liability:
West Forged Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the use or inability to use its products, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
2. Rendering and Colour Matching:
West Forged Ltd. employs digital software to create render designs of our alloy wheels. These renders serve as visual representations of the final product and are intended to provide customers with a preview of the wheel's appearance.
It is important to note that colours depicted in the render designs may not precisely match the colours of the actual alloy wheels. While every effort is made to ensure a close match between the render and the final product, variations in colour may occur due to factors such as screen settings, lighting conditions, and the inherent differences between digital representations and physical objects.
Additionally, West Forged Ltd. offers a wide range of custom paint finishes for our alloy wheels. These finishes are meticulously handcrafted, and as such, providing precise paint codes may not always be feasible.
Customers who select custom paint finishes should be aware that while we strive to achieve consistency, minor variations in colour may exist between different batches or orders. These variations are a natural result of the artisanal painting process.
West Forged Ltd. welcomes customers to request additional information or clarification regarding colours, and we will do our best to provide guidance and assistance in selecting the desired finish.
3. Special Finish Imperfections:
West Forged Ltd. offers special finish options, including but not limited to Brushed, Polished, and Diamond Cutting, which are meticulously crafted by hand to provide a unique and premium appearance.
Due to the manual nature of these finishing processes, it is important to note that minor imperfections, such as small variations in texture or finish, may be present. These imperfections are considered part of the artisanal quality of our products and do not constitute defects.
West Forged Ltd. strives for the highest quality standards and will make every effort to ensure that special finish imperfections are minimized. However, customers should be aware that these finishes may exhibit subtle variations that are inherent to handcrafted techniques.
Customers who choose special finish options acknowledge and accept that these finishes are subject to minor imperfections and variations, and such imperfections will not be considered grounds for returns or refunds under the warranty or return policy, unless they significantly affect the structural integrity or safety of the alloy wheels.
4. Dry Fitting Requirement:
Prior to mounting tires on any alloy wheels purchased from West Forged Ltd., it is mandatory for a chosen professional to perform a dry fit on the vehicle to ensure proper fitment and alignment.
Dry fitting involves placing the alloy wheels on the vehicle without mounting tires and carefully inspecting for any specification issues, including but not limited to clearance, offset, and alignment.
This dry fitting step is critical to identify and rectify any potential fitment issues before the wheels are used on the road. Failure to perform this dry fitting procedure may result in damage to the vehicle.
West Forged Ltd. cannot assume responsibility for any damage to the vehicle or the alloy wheels that may occur due to the failure to conduct a proper dry fit before road use. Customers and their chosen professionals are solely responsible for ensuring that the wheels are compatible with the vehicle's specifications and requirements.
It is the customer's responsibility to engage qualified professionals for the dry fitting process and ensure that any necessary adjustments or modifications are made to guarantee safe and proper fitment.
Once tyres have been mounted to the wheels, the customer accepts that the wheels are at the agreed specifications, and there are no concerns with the manufacturing or finish of the wheels.
5. Specifications and Fitment Responsibility:
West Forged Ltd. provides recommendations and guidance regarding alloy wheel specifications, including brake clearance, wheel size, and fitment. However, it is imperative to understand that these recommendations are based on the information provided by the customer and should be used as a reference.
West Forged Ltd. will not be held liable for any inaccuracies in specifications or fitment that result in alloy wheels not fitting as expected. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the accuracy of these specifications before proceeding with their order.
Prior to signing the render confirmation form, customers are strongly encouraged to measure brake clearances and verify wheel size requirements to ensure compatibility with their vehicle. By signing the confirmation form, the customer acknowledges that they have conducted these verifications.
5.1 Fitting Requirements:
Dry fitting of the alloy wheels to the vehicle, as mentioned in our terms and conditions, is a crucial step to confirm proper fitment and alignment. Failure to conduct this dry fitting process before road use may result in issues that West Forged Ltd. cannot be held responsible for.
Customers are responsible for engaging qualified professionals to assist with measurements, fitment assessments, and the dry fitting process. West Forged Ltd. is not liable for any costs or damages incurred due to incorrect specifications or fitment.
6. Pricing Flexibility and Individualized Invoicing:
At West Forged Ltd., we take pride in offering alloy wheels of the highest quality and craftsmanship. Our pricing structure is designed to reflect the unique nature of each product we create.
It is important to note that our pricing for alloy wheels may be subject to change in response to market conditions, material costs, and other factors that may impact production costs.
Every alloy wheel we manufacture is tailored to meet the specific requirements of our customers. As such, no two invoices from West Forged Ltd. will be the same. Pricing is determined individually for each order based on factors including but not limited to wheel size, specifications, and selected finishes.

7. Weight Variability:

Weights provided on our website or in product descriptions are approximate values and are intended as general guidelines. Customers should be aware that the actual weight of their specific alloy wheels may change throughout the manufacturing process.

8. Lead Times:
Lead times are provided within each individual confirmation email and are intended as an estimate and are not guaranteed delivery dates.
While we make every effort to meet the estimated lead times provided, there may be circumstances beyond our control that can affect the production and delivery schedule. Factors such as material availability, production capacity, and shipping logistics can impact the timeline.
Customers are encouraged to contact West Forged Ltd. for updates on the progress of their orders. We are committed to keeping customers informed about any delays or changes to their expected delivery dates.
West Forged Ltd. will not be held liable for any inconvenience or losses incurred by customers due to variations in lead times. We appreciate our customers' understanding and patience in situations where delivery schedules may be adjusted.
9. Trusted UK-Based Partners:
West Forged Ltd. has established relationships with trusted UK-based partners who specialize in services such as test fitting, tire fitting, colour changing, and wheel repairing. These partners are recommended to customers for their expertise and quality of workmanship.
Customers are encouraged to consider utilizing these trusted partners to ensure a comprehensive and seamless experience when fitting, customising, or repairing alloy wheels purchased from West Forged Ltd. However, the decision to engage these partners is entirely at the discretion of the customer.
It is important to understand that when a customer chooses to use one of our trusted UK-based partners for services related to West Forged alloy wheels, the transaction and any subsequent communication are solely between the customer and the chosen partner. West Forged Ltd. is not responsible for any aspects of the arrangement or any matters arising from this transaction.
This includes but is not limited to communication, pricing, scheduling, and customer satisfaction. Any concerns, inquiries, or complaints regarding the services provided by our trusted partners should be directed to the respective partner, as they are independent entities separate from West Forged Ltd.
10. Warranty Coverage and Exclusions:
West Forged Ltd. is proud to offer a comprehensive warranty for our alloy wheels, which includes:
- 24-month structural warranty
- 6-month finish warranty on standard satin and gloss finishes
- 1-month finish warranty on special finishes including but not limited to Brushed, Chrome, Polished, and Diamond Cut
These warranties are designed to provide peace of mind to our customers and cover manufacturing defects. Structural warranties are voided if the wheels are repaired, refinished, or modified. Customers are responsible for any shipping costs required during warranty claims.
Exclusions from warranty coverage include, but are not limited to:
- Misuse of the wheels (e.g., extreme off-road use)
- Incorrect tyre/wheel combinations
- Improper care or maintenance
- Damage resulting from curbing, potholes, or collisions
11. Cancellation Policy:
Customers have the option to cancel their order for alloy wheels from West Forged Ltd. subject to the following terms:
10.1 Full Refund:
Orders may be cancelled within 7 days from the date of signing the render confirmation form if production of the wheels has not commenced. Customers are entitled to a full refund of the invoice amount minus an administration fee in such cases.
10.2 Partial Refund:
If a customer wishes to cancel an order after production of the alloy wheels has begun, a refund of 50% of the full invoice amount will be offered. This is due to the costs incurred during the manufacturing process.
10.3 Refund Process:
Refunds will be processed within 28 days of the cancellation request and will be returned to the original payment method.
12. Specifications Change Policy:
Once the manufacturing process has commenced, specifications for the wheels cannot be altered or changed.
Customers are advised to carefully review and confirm all specifications before signing the confirmation form. Changes after this may not be accommodated.
13. Complaint Resolution Policy:
West Forged Ltd. is committed to ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise. Customers are encouraged to reach out to us directly to resolve complaints before posting on social media or public platforms.
14. Response Times to Customer Inquiries:
West Forged Ltd. strives to respond to customer inquiries within 24 hours, but may experience delays in certain circumstances. Customers are encouraged to follow up if a response is not received within the expected time.
15. Manufacturing Location and Communication:
Manufacturing of our alloy wheels is carried out overseas by approved partners. All customer communication is handled by our UK-based team.
16. Policy on Abusive Behaviour:
West Forged Ltd. does not tolerate abusive behaviour and reserves the right to take action if necessary, including limiting services or taking legal steps.
17. Force Majeure:
West Forged Ltd. will not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control.
18. Governing Law:
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English and Welsh courts.
